These terms cover everyone who touches Matchbook: wingpeople with accounts, singles whose profiles are shared, and guests who chat through a link. By creating an account, keeping a profile live, or using a chat link, you agree to them.
You must be 18 or older. Every person on a roster must be 18 or older. That’s not negotiable, and accounts that break it are removed.
Wingpeople publish profiles of real people, so the rules are strict: only add someone who knows they’re on your roster and is okay with it. Profiles are served only after you confirm that consent in the app, and your friend can demand removal at any time (through you, or by contacting us directly). You are responsible for what you write; keep it kind and true.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior anywhere on Matchbook. That includes:
Every profile and chat has a Report action. We review reports and act within 24 hours: removing content, killing links, and terminating the accounts responsible. Either chat participant can also end any chat instantly and permanently by typing STOP.
Keep your credentials to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account any time in Settings, which permanently erases your roster, photos, and every chat tied to them. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Matchbook is provided as-is, without warranties. We’re matchmaking software, not a background-check service; use the same judgment you’d use meeting anyone new. To the fullest extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
